What a Cow!

I'll bet lots of people remember dreading that first day of school, walking down the corridors full of new faces, wondering who the bullies would be.
When I was a child in grade school there were lots of them. Being a submissive personby nature these often made my life miserable with mean taunts of name calling. One in particular I remember was 'Cow"...

How I hated that. Nothing ever seemed to be done by the teachers of the time about this daily torture to many by just a few, even after many trips by my Grand Mother to the Principle's office. Finally I stopped telling as the bullies made my life worst. When I got to Junior High School, where the staff was a different type ,there was nothing like that as these bossy indiviuals were expelled if a problem arouse..thank goodness!

As the years progress after I graduated,I hadn't thought of this much till one day at a work break another staff member and I started to exchange stories. He reminded me that in past times, and even now in some cultures, the Cow is considered sacred. In ancient times the Cow was used as a God symbol, worshiped by everyone. It was nice to realize this ,to let go of something I had dreaded, being called a Cow. Before I realized it, though, he started calling me 'Cow' again...
I would be standing in the work place doing something and he would walk up behind me,softly whisper cow and walk away. I was upset. I didn't know what to do so I ignored it. Wrong thing to do. Maybe, but I learned to value the other true meaning and enpower myself with being called Cow again.

The other day I was walking down the corridor of a place had I volunteered for the day. Standing in the hall was a young man who has autism. He was talking to himself and writing notes in a journaling book he carries with him all the time. As I passed him, he said "What a Cow." I stopped and looked at him. He looked up at me, coming awake for a moment from his dream and realized, with a troubled look on his face what he had just said. I smiled at him and said 'Thank you." He smiled back at me, then, just as sudden, returned to his dream. I thanked the Universe, also, and continued on my journey, too.

My Beth Moore Symacast Report ☼

What happened to me on Saturday...I was invited by my Church to attend the Beth Moore symacast. It was a day long event with just under 100 women attending from my area plus another 167000 word-wide ava live internet broad cast. It was well organized, there were lots of extra(door prizes,Subway lunch, chocalote, flowers, ect), vendor's selling Christian literature, crafts and,lo and behold, natural stone jewelery! Plus the experience opened a whole new door for my intake on the Christian Divine. Beth Moore caught myattention with her talk of a Supernatural God, women's role in religion and accepting that God does work for those appointed to us in human form. The 'lesson' was based around the Israel's Covenant history in the Old Testament parable 2 Kings 4:8 to 37, where the prophet Elisha gives a gift of a child who dies then brings that child back to life for the Shunammite woman...sort of a reiki healing type power surge, or so it seemed to me from the description of the procedure in the bible scripture.

Beth Moore gave a sermon on the needs of women with God-as an example: Girl A- who has almost nothing and Girl Z who has almost everything and where we fit into that...of course as my friends know, I'm the Princess of quite a lot!

Also, her 7 Crown topics which were-
1- Personal desperation can jar us out of second hand-stories.
~Me? My answer to that was these often appear from others to keep us on track of our own personal truth.I try not to listen to second hand stories...
2-God didn't call you to 'fine', God called you to faith.
~Me?I want to live in the supernatural provision of God which was what Beth Moore agreed...If you have everything you need, then you need a bigger life. I NEED a MIRACLE! What can I do? Do it myself...
3-Fear is the crippler of a walking talking miracle.
~Me? Each of us are called here to be a walking talking miracle, called to tell our story by the Divine. Acts 18:9-10
4-Faith trusts that every call to forsake is also a call to take.
~Me? We are not called to teach but to tell- John 1:16
5-Faith faces the fact that there is no formula.
~Me? I say there's no fixed way to solve our problems. Some times its our failure that's a victory or a victory that is the failure. Be forgiving, you can lose, Ye Ge...
Love someone who hates you.
6-Faith rests its case on the resurrection of the dead. Galatians 1:4-5
~Me? I AM the walking dead, but I do believe. Galatians 1:11-12
7-The Lord speaks the word and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng. Psalms 68:11
~Me? Thats what we came to hear..right, Girls? note- we all love a surprize... : )
Amon to that!
P.S.- I've also had a invitation to the Ladies Spa weekend September 22 with my new Sisters ♥

Life on the Herb Trail

I've been running the fields and woods trying to get as many samples of local herbs as possible before the frost gets the 'best' of them. So far, I've ID'ed 15 in my local area...now I have a cold and need to stay home and drink sage tea...hoping to feel better for tomorrow's symocast at the church from Beth Moore...

I also found a excellent sample of goldstone on my path...hope you enjoy : )

Gold Stone-
♥ Vitality ♥ Drive ♥ Ambition
Its sparkle is due to flecks of copper.

Chakras - (gold) Sacral Chakra, (blue) Throat Chakra
Typical colours - gold or blue with golden sparkles

Goldstone is said to be the stone of ambition. It builds energy, courage and a positive attitude. Increases drive and confidence. A gently uplifting stone, Goldstone promotes vitality.

Goldstone helps to reduce stomach tension and benefits arthritic conditions. It is helpful to bones, painful joints and circulation.

Bathing Ritual

A bath is a ritual for me. I love to light a candle, turn on some soft music and fill my old bath tub with bubbles. The size of the Tub allows me to sit right to my neck in water if I like and comtemplate life in general... I have also been known to fall asleep and wake up in cold water and my dog, Elfie, has rescued me a few times when this has happened by standing beside the tub and barking at me
: )
The Bath Tub was one of the reasons I love the old house I rent. When I was a small child we lived in a home with a similar one. I was allowed to fill it to the brim and 'swim' around, pretending I was a fish. Also there was the assortment of boats, duckies and other float toys of the day to play with. I was usually hauled screaming from a ice cold bath water by my Grand Mother as I never wanted to be taken out of my water playground.

The tradition of a bath is a ancient one dating back before anyone even remembered to write about it. The Romans were famous for their baths, dedicated to their Gods and only certain persons were allowed to take part.Even now people travel world-wide to be healed in salt baths, mud baths and mineral waters.

Awakening on a Beach

O the freshness of the salt air! There's nothing like Ocean breeze, quiet morning waves and storm turned stones. I took time to walk a few of my favorite beaches yesterday on my way home from town, looking for semi-precios stones and solitude. After walking a hour or so up one beach the scene before me turned from beach rocks to virgin sands right up to my boulder size holey stone. Usually its a long hike over larger rocks and seaweed covered puddles. The large shards stood up like small mountians with the greeness of the cliff behind them. Among the shards were smaller stones, washed up by the storm. A nice selection of rubites, jade pieces and calacite. Also I found a few darker spar pieces for my already full jar on my bedroom stand : )
This place is the spot a few years ago I had found this mountain of rock complete with a 'X' to mark the spot on the beach below. The X stone was completely buried under the freshness of the sands but I took time to sit and meditate on the quiet turning of the tides with the sea birds calling to me about the Universal connection we all share. The sand pipers scurried up to me, not noticing that I was not a stone to pick at whatever it is they eat at my feet. After sitting awhile, smiling down at them, I decided to chirp, to let them know I was there before I got up so not to scare them tooooo much! Before I left I touched the man in the stone, thanking him for the easy walk and the find of diamonds along the way. Hoping you enjoy the photos.

Soul Shift

Sep. 10th, 2012 at 9:11 AM

note~Definition- Wesleyan-Medthodist - a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny; "he lost his faith but not his morality"

I've been reading my Christian study book this last week in between walks on the lake, Kabbahal research and clearing up the yard for the church I'm attending. Its called Soul Shift- a measure of life transformed by Steve Deneff and David Drury : )

A few of the first things that caught my attention was they mentioned the seven crowns we receive from God, shifting from the seen to the unseen and returning from Slave to Child. I was glad to see this written in a way people could understand..promising...
I'm hoping the smaller study groups formed from this congregational study will prove interesting and I've already signed up for a morning session with some of my Sisters ♥

I took my daily walk on Friday evening up past Allen's lake and onto the woods at the side road where the summer cottages are.The leaves are starting to turn a bit brown at the edges after the full moon of last week, a indication Fall colour is not too far away...sign...Soon everything will be gold and red along the path here. I stopped to pick a few green crisp apples for a snack. Molly helped herself to some that had already fallen. Many had been nibbled on by the deer hanging around the lake. The apples are similar to a Granny Smith variety and very delicious : )
As I was getting ready to head back home, I had a brief visit from Dragonfly. It lighted on my arm just long enough to capture a photo before it disappeared off over the misty lake ☼

I’ve been hiding away the last few days at home enjoying the cooler evenings with a new friend. We are both interested in the Kabbalah and Tree of Life studies. He has more ‘knowing’ about such things so has ‘opened’ many new doors for me. If we keep up this pace, I’ll be crowned in no time...punny : ) Also looking into Spiritual sex experiences thru meditation...
