Farm Liv'in

I recently acepted a job at a local organic chicken/hog farm near-by. I've been working for two weeks and just love it so far! My job is to help with the feeding/water/care of the animals there.
I found out our free-range hogs are super smart! On Sunday myself and the other girl working there were out feeding the animals when we received a call from the neighbour. One of our mother sows and 10 piglets were in his yard! We went to rescue them and returned them to their field. When checking the electric fence, I noticed the two strands of wire had been twisted together and a tree root was holding it up off the ground enough for the piggy mob to escape. I wondered if this was a accident or not... Wednesday the mod had did it again, twisting the fence and another stick holding the fence...today when I went to feed the chickens in the 'lower forty', I noticed tiny-weeny piggy footie prints in the mud again... the pigs had some how un-plugged the fence, went to the free-range chicken coop house and helped them selves to the organic chicken pellets... so much for cheap pork...these babies are too smart...

I was walking to the Shop the other morning along the dirt road from the back barns. A gleam hit my eye suddenly. Shineing there in the dirt was a spar diamond. I picked it up and realized this is were I'm suppose to be right now in time...
