Moses vs the People

"I AM who I AM" ~Exodus 3:14

I was listening to a sermon on Sunday at my Church about how the people of Israel didn't want to believe Moses was trying to rescue them. ( Book of Exodus 3)
It reminded of how we all try to accomplish our tasks set before us. Even the simplest deed seems impossible if we don't have the determination to begin. I like to try and start something new right away, pacing myself, trying to be patient and looking for inspiration in the project itself.

How do you do this?
1~ Start each day be smiling at yourself in a mirror, you ARE the most important person in your life!
2~ Pay for yourself first. Whether it be a nice meal or a new outfit.
3~ Listen to your own suggestions before you take someone elses opinion of what should be done. ONLY YOU can decide if its best for you.

and finally...
4~ Always do your best because...God works thru you...Acts 7:25

Another Day? Willow...

"The oldest Wisdom in the world tells us we can consciously unite with the Divine while in this body; for this man is really born. If he misses his destiny, Nature is not in a hurry; she will catch him up someday, and compel him to fulfill her secret purpose."
~Sarvepalli
My beloved neighbours on the hill have offered their pasture for the horses again this summer so I spent last evening walking the fields across from my home, checking fences, tightening wire/muscle's and enjoying Nature. There's a beautiful babbling brook pasting to the side for water, trees for shade and waist high grass mixed with wild flowers and clover. As I walked I noticed a willow tree growing beside the marshy area just beyond the fence line. I've always been aware of plant auras, even as a child finding herbs and roots that nourish the body and Spirit.Stopping to admire her beauty, I touching her bows in the dimming light of sun-set. Her bows filled me with a orgasm of light that travelled from my hands to my heart then grounded me to my Mother Earth. Willow is well known for its healing properties and has been used for centuries as a medical cure in teas, plasters and tinctures. Willow Remedies
Feeling renewed by her presence, I thanked the tree for her healing energy and returned to my work.

Farm Liv'in

I recently acepted a job at a local organic chicken/hog farm near-by. I've been working for two weeks and just love it so far! My job is to help with the feeding/water/care of the animals there.
I found out our free-range hogs are super smart! On Sunday myself and the other girl working there were out feeding the animals when we received a call from the neighbour. One of our mother sows and 10 piglets were in his yard! We went to rescue them and returned them to their field. When checking the electric fence, I noticed the two strands of wire had been twisted together and a tree root was holding it up off the ground enough for the piggy mob to escape. I wondered if this was a accident or not... Wednesday the mod had did it again, twisting the fence and another stick holding the fence...today when I went to feed the chickens in the 'lower forty', I noticed tiny-weeny piggy footie prints in the mud again... the pigs had some how un-plugged the fence, went to the free-range chicken coop house and helped them selves to the organic chicken pellets... so much for cheap pork...these babies are too smart...

I was walking to the Shop the other morning along the dirt road from the back barns. A gleam hit my eye suddenly. Shineing there in the dirt was a spar diamond. I picked it up and realized this is were I'm suppose to be right now in time...
