Another Day? Willow...

"The oldest Wisdom in the world tells us we can consciously unite with the Divine while in this body; for this man is really born. If he misses his destiny, Nature is not in a hurry; she will catch him up someday, and compel him to fulfill her secret purpose."
~Sarvepalli
My beloved neighbours on the hill have offered their pasture for the horses again this summer so I spent last evening walking the fields across from my home, checking fences, tightening wire/muscle's and enjoying Nature. There's a beautiful babbling brook pasting to the side for water, trees for shade and waist high grass mixed with wild flowers and clover. As I walked I noticed a willow tree growing beside the marshy area just beyond the fence line. I've always been aware of plant auras, even as a child finding herbs and roots that nourish the body and Spirit.Stopping to admire her beauty, I touching her bows in the dimming light of sun-set. Her bows filled me with a orgasm of light that travelled from my hands to my heart then grounded me to my Mother Earth. Willow is well known for its healing properties and has been used for centuries as a medical cure in teas, plasters and tinctures. Willow Remedies
Feeling renewed by her presence, I thanked the tree for her healing energy and returned to my work.
