I can't believe its been a month sense I've up-dated...! I've completed my move to Lake Darling on March 28 and just love it! I have a beautiful view and all my critters are getting used to the New surroundings. I've also have had time to enjoy my new surroundings as work at the Plant has been a bit slow but will soon be 12 hour shifts again...(((sigh)))
I got to met the new owners of Churchill Mansion today. Their working hard to get it renovated. Lots to do but the Mansion looks awesome so far. Heres a link to their "like" page on facebook.com.

News on Ferry Service...

McNeil Commits to Re-establishing a Yarmouth - US Ferry Service
(Halifax, NS) Liberal leader Stephen McNeil told the audience at the Yarmouth and Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon today that a Liberal government would commit a financial investment to an international ferry link between Yarmouth and New England.
"There is no question the decision to abruptly end the subsidy for the ferry was short sighted and has had, and will continue to have, a negative impact on southwestern Nova Scotia and beyond," McNeil said during his speech. "This ferry has proven to be a critical transportation and economic link for all of Nova Scotia."
"Let me be clear. Our caucus and our party want to return an international ferry service to Yarmouth - a Liberal government would commit to an investment for a viable ferry operation."
While the Liberal leader intends to push the Federal government to provide matching funds, he said he would also ensure that a process was in place for all stakeholders to be involved in the approval and selection of a ferry.
"The people in communities across Nova Scotia know what conditions they need to create growth and jobs," said McNeil. "The people in southwestern Nova Scotia know that a ferry link is crucial to those conditions."

...still here...
I realized today itrs been a week sense I posted in my journal. Lots happening with moving, ferry service debate, Yarmouth SPCA Vanguard paper article comments, Japan's disaster, ect. Have not seen anymore of James (trylen) sense I told him off last Thursday which is good. I really don't want to.I'm hoping he was home for a visit and returning to misery ( Missouri) to be with his soul- mate... : Q
Getting ready to move has been a struggle. so much to pack, my daughter can't help much as her pregnancy has her limited in physical efforts. I collected my antique furniture from my old companion Austin on the weekend. he's had it for 2 years so was happy I finally got it ( a letter from a lawyer was necessary of course). Im hoping to be into the house by Monday. Calling to have the phone disconnected today so I won't have internet for a week probably.

March 9, 2011 at 08:40:07 To think the shelter parntners with those trying to help the over population by helping rescuers is false. I recently (September 2010) rescued a feral mother cat who, of course, produced 4 kittens with in days. I raised these cats on my own after the local shelter refused to except them because they 'could' have feline leukimia. Last week I approached a board member to request a cat carrier to take 2 kittens to the vet to be altered and was refused. I had already had mommie fixed in January and a male fixed in february. i did not request any financal support from that shelter. I know for a fact they regularly loan our equipment . Why then was I refused? No answers will ever be given me except that i critizied their no kill policy( they still euthanize regularly at the shelter) and I removed a group from facebook that I created when they demanded I either give it to the or delete it. I deleted it. Why? Because after 13 years of working at the shelter they told me when I left their employment I was no longer allowed to volunteer because staff were 'talking about me'. So thank YOU, Yarmouth SPCA. I gave my best to the animals there.I loved them and often took them home because I couldn't kill them for you. I gave my free time them. I cared 24/7 for them and was on call even when I was off sick. i will never give a dime now to help YOU. I WILL help other rescues because they do care for the PEOPLE who help them, not just the animals.

New place found...
Seems I could of found a perfect house! THANK YOU UNIVERSE☼
Now that my Daughter is here with me I need more room with the new baby coming next month ♥ I went last week to look at a home not far from where I'm living now. Acually...I seen this house 2 years ago but decided to move where I am now instead which was a mistake for me. Renting from family doesn't work : (
Its has 3 bedrooms, a sun porch , large office, large eat-in kitchen, laundry room, and 6 acres with barn so perfect! I do have to put up a fence for the horses and fix up the shed for a run-in(theres plenty of room for stalls later) and will be working on this next week. It has a old fashion bath tub that one can lay back in too. Hoping to get my key this week so I can start moving ♥
