Color, Sound and the Esoteric

Artists and designers use color theory to understand the effects of mixing colors. Although the notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci contain writings on color theory, most color theorists point to Isaac Newton as the developer of color theory. Swiss artist Johannes Itten expanded upon the work of Newton and others to develop his theory of color. Itten's theory takes into account not only a color's contrasting properties but also its emotional ones. His work was first developed at the Bauhaus. Artists and designers continue to refer to and use his work to this day.

~Color experience is for anyone who wants to know more about theory and how it applies to the design of news. Color is arranged into the experience so that the viewer  respond to color in a physiological way.
For example, an artist is allowed to change colors in paintings and news pages to alter the meaning and mood; the viewer is taken through an exercise on after-image where it is explained through a hands-on exercise why we see green, a complementary color, after staring at red, a primary color; and the viewer is able to demonstrate on their own how changing a color’s background, or environment, can change the color’s tone, brilliance and intensity.
All the sensory input we get through the 5 senses is translated into the electro-chemical language of our central nervous-system. This electro-chemical language can also be described as LIGHT! And color is light.
Connecting the colors with qualities of life and then projecting it to your own unresolved issues and past life fragments, color becomes esoteric.
Esoteric means “meaning” or inner meaning – to discover the deeper layers of meaning are a life process and it is the evolution of consciousness.
Esoteric color means that you visualise, feel and experience the qualities of the vibrations of colors.
It is an awakening of the “inner eye”. And it is to become more and more aware of the qualities of color. Both the “physical” colors and the colors of the radiant bodies (aura).
When you have a profound sense of what esoteric color means – you can start adding it to esoteric breathing and sound.
This is a very powerful tool for transformation and expanded consciousness.

The Eilid

I often think of my days spent in the community of Kemptville, Nova Scotia. I was a 'town person' when I arrived at age 31 but the kind people of that village soon welcomed me and my young family into their counry life style with kitchen duties at the local suppers and Sunday church services plus Sunday school for my five growing children.
One day I was called by a man living on the Polly road. he told me there was a white spike horn buck eating under his apple tree and wanted me to bring the children to see it. I loaded my three youngest plus my10 year old daughter, Tiffany, into the van and headed out to look. When we arrived, I could see the deer eating apples under a tree in the man's field. The children were excited so I reminded them to keep as quiet as possible as we wouldn't scare the deer. Slowly I and the children started walking towards it. As we approached, it lifted its head and watched. was ahead with my 3 year old, Anna. I held my hand out and the deer stepped towards me, lightly touching my palm. Anna touched his muzzle and then he slowly walked off towards the apples again. What a wonderful; gift to see a wild creature so passive. Our kindness paid off that day, I told the children. A lesson they never forgot...

A bit of lore for you~

If you're someone who has studied a path rooted in Celtic mythology and legend, you know that the white deer (hind or elilid) is a messenger. If you see one, chances are good that the angels are near.Even in early Christianity, the white deer also is associated, in some stories, with Christ himself. The Hind or Eilid Deer represents gentleness, caring and kindness.

Truth

"He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created."
~Book of James 1:18

"she sheweth herself ..."

A lenght of scripture from the lost books of the bible. Thought I would share with my friends ♥

"Covet ye, therefore, my words, and love them, and you shall have instruction.
. Wisdom is glorious, and never fadeth away, and is easily seen by them that love her, and is found by them that seek her.
She preventeth them that covet her, so that she first sheweth herself unto them.
He that awaketh early to seek her, shall not labour: for he shall find her sitting at his door.
To think, therefore, upon her, is perfect understanding: and he that watcheth for her, shall quickly be secure.
For she goeth about seeking such as are worthy of her, and she sheweth herself to them cheerfully in the ways, and meeteth them with all providence.
For the beginning of her is the most true desire of discipline.
And the care of discipline is love: and love is the keeping of her laws: and the keeping of her laws is the firm foundation of incorruption:
And incorruption bringeth near to God.
Therefore the desire of wisdom bringeth to the everlasting kingdom.
If then your delight be in thrones, and sceptres, O ye kings of the people, love wisdom, that you may reign for ever.
Love the light of wisdom, all ye that bear rule over peoples.
Now what wisdom is, and what was her origin, I will declare: and I will not hide from you the mysteries of God, but will seek her out from the beginning of her birth, and bring the knowledge of her to light, and will not pass over the truth:
Neither will I go with consuming envy: for such a man shall not be partaker of wisdom.
Now the multitude of the wise is the welfare of the whole world: and a wise king is the upholding of the people.
Receive, therefore, instruction by my words, and it shall be profitable to you."

A Blessing to You at Easter

The reason for the season. remember that we are one with our GOD.

We commemorate Easter by remembering the blood-atoning death of Jesus Christ on the cross for our sins, his burial and his resurrection on the third day.
In our day, as in the days of Paul the apostle to the Gentiles, "the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God."
Paul said, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Paul said, "Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel." Paul called the gospel "the gospel of your salvation" and in another place, he said "by which also ye are saved." Jesus Christ "abolished death and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel."
What is the gospel? The gospel is "that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." That's what it took to save your soul.
"All have sinned."
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the God of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."

A Piece of Chalk

A Cold Spring Start!

(Photo of Me ♥)

I was in volunteering this morning at the local Yarmouth Wesleyan Church for the Mac & Cheese Monday they hold for the local High school children. This is still being appreciated by over 230 children! its nice to see they with a full plate and a big smile! I saw this bicycle with a mail order motor go by as I waited for my ride home to Lake Darling. The cyclist said it will do over 40 miles per hour and yes, he was wearing a helmet! it would be cheap on gas but I guess I'll go by car...I don't think I'll try it anytime soon.
