Soul Mates

When a person does what he/she loves, chooses what that love is and lives thru the principle/ feelings of what they love, the rest of life falls into place as if the puzzle pieces of their mind are harmonized by a power far greater than mere conscious ability to solve their own dilemmas. Love is a feeling.Impressions come from feelings, thus when one feels they are in love, everything in their Universe is beautiful. The question is, what should we love? Should we love other people? I think we need to love 'ourself' more... I've wasted a lot of time in my life loving others, expecting the same in return. I have decided now that it was ok to love these undeserving persons. Why? Because I felt better at the time because of this enriching vibration of LOVE we bring to ourself as indiviuals.
Another question, do we feel we have to have the same soul mate in every life? Believing in reincarnation, I feel we do need to contact these people who come to us as lovers, teachers or just plain 'pains-in-the-butt' to feel for-filled in life. Do we always recondnize them? That is another question...we don't always realize these indiviuals till they have passed out of our life.Sometimes never. We must stay open-minded when dealing with others. Then we can get the full message of what they were trying to help us learn in our life. It may not always be a pleasant experience and karma needs to be worked out so we can move on into the next illusion of time.

I was think'in about my past affairs the last day or so after reading the book, "Soul Mates- Honoring the Mysteries of Love and Relationships" by Thomas Moore. For some unknown reason,I picked up this book back in the summer of 2009 at a flea market I attended. It sat on my kitchen table at the Woodstock Road house for months till I finally threw it in my book case. When I moved here a 2 years ago in April, it fell out a box coming thru the door and I almost tossed it into the stuff for the Sally-Anne store but because my daughter, Tiffany was here, she put it safe back into my book case, telling me, knowingly, I would read it : )
Last week while dusting, I noticed it again, so picked it out and put it on my night table...must read this, I guessed. I picked it up last night, read the first chapter then thumbed to the back and ,basically, this is what I read there.

'The Alchemy of Intimacy- a state of 'prima materia' or being too tantalizing is what attracts someone to us. Its got nothing to do with love and everything to do with intuision. Knowing what the other 'soul' needs to survive.'

I can whole heartly agree with this. Its got me in trouble too many times and I'm sure this is what I was suppose to learn from this book. If you make someone too happy, they expect more happiness. Try not to make the other soul mate too happy or YOU will be miserable. What I already knew and avoid, so I guess I can say, I AM LOVED, by me!

Ladies Spa, Camp Peniel

Another annual event attended Saturday in Cedar Lake, Yarmouth County. We had a large continental breakfast with all the trimmings. Myself with another 70 + woman took in a morning devoction with Sister Ruth on Psalms 27 with mention of Ephesians 6:12 We are not at war with flesh and blood but with the rulers and authouries of this world and the evil they they create... for sure!

Then we had a session with local Christian author Natalie Gidney about 'the woman who bleeds and is healed by her faith', Mark 5:25-34. I found it interesting that she does this herself, simply by believing it WILL be done. Makes me want to state, 'We walk by faith and not by sight.' (Corinthians 5:7) is possible in everyday life if we just believe we are the master of our own destiny, it is only the Path that must be realized...do you know what I mean?
After a lunch of salad ham/roast beef wraps and cookies we took part in many activities. The wall climbing had to be cancelled because of rain but there was water trampoline, flower arranging class, decorating cookies class, foot massage, facials, hot tub, a writer's session, how to pickle ,ect, ect ,ect. After a turkey supper at 5pm , we had a auction, then a fun night with talent show and girlie movie.
All in all it was a lovely day for me and my new Sisters.

Here and Now, There and Then- Part One

(A note from the Lecture Series on the Book of Revelation)

My first session was on Thursday at the Church hall. It was well attended with over 30 women, all anxious to hear what Beth Moore had to say about the apostle John's apocalypsis of the Book of Revelation, written about 90 AD.
As my friend's here know, I'm still job hunting and broke most of the time so a unexpecting Angel purchased the work-book for these sessions for me at a cost of over $20 a book. A special Blessing to this wonderful woman, sent from the Divine to help me on my quest : )

We looked mostly Chapter One, parables 1 to 8 in the 22 chapter scripture.Beth Moore spoke on the sybolizism in this work, mentioning the use of 7's in Revelation. She said ' 7' is a perfection symbol. I couldn't help but think of my use of this number. To me it represent Justice, a teacher or sorts, that helps us to realize the Divine in the mundrane. For a example, she spoke of John 12:49- "For I did not speak on my own but for the Father (GOD) who sent me to say all I have spoken."
We talked of the Christ, who is the Alpha and Omega. I couldn't help but visualize the Tree of Life here, We start with the Kingdom, working to the Yesod or teacher who I see as 7 here. We then work up the Tree towards the Crown, depending on our path. Jesus was obviously moving towards the Alpha, the obvious path, opposite of where I find myself at times. The Christ tried at that time to speak to us, as said in John 15:15- "God tells me and I tell you in a way you can understand"... Isn't that what Christians want? A easier way to find their goals in faith? I think so. There is hope for higher learning here...
as for me- Exodus 3:14- I AM who I AM.

What a Cow!

I'll bet lots of people remember dreading that first day of school, walking down the corridors full of new faces, wondering who the bullies would be.
When I was a child in grade school there were lots of them. Being a submissive personby nature these often made my life miserable with mean taunts of name calling. One in particular I remember was 'Cow"...

How I hated that. Nothing ever seemed to be done by the teachers of the time about this daily torture to many by just a few, even after many trips by my Grand Mother to the Principle's office. Finally I stopped telling as the bullies made my life worst. When I got to Junior High School, where the staff was a different type ,there was nothing like that as these bossy indiviuals were expelled if a problem arouse..thank goodness!

As the years progress after I graduated,I hadn't thought of this much till one day at a work break another staff member and I started to exchange stories. He reminded me that in past times, and even now in some cultures, the Cow is considered sacred. In ancient times the Cow was used as a God symbol, worshiped by everyone. It was nice to realize this ,to let go of something I had dreaded, being called a Cow. Before I realized it, though, he started calling me 'Cow' again...
I would be standing in the work place doing something and he would walk up behind me,softly whisper cow and walk away. I was upset. I didn't know what to do so I ignored it. Wrong thing to do. Maybe, but I learned to value the other true meaning and enpower myself with being called Cow again.

The other day I was walking down the corridor of a place had I volunteered for the day. Standing in the hall was a young man who has autism. He was talking to himself and writing notes in a journaling book he carries with him all the time. As I passed him, he said "What a Cow." I stopped and looked at him. He looked up at me, coming awake for a moment from his dream and realized, with a troubled look on his face what he had just said. I smiled at him and said 'Thank you." He smiled back at me, then, just as sudden, returned to his dream. I thanked the Universe, also, and continued on my journey, too.

My Beth Moore Symacast Report ☼

What happened to me on Saturday...I was invited by my Church to attend the Beth Moore symacast. It was a day long event with just under 100 women attending from my area plus another 167000 word-wide ava live internet broad cast. It was well organized, there were lots of extra(door prizes,Subway lunch, chocalote, flowers, ect), vendor's selling Christian literature, crafts and,lo and behold, natural stone jewelery! Plus the experience opened a whole new door for my intake on the Christian Divine. Beth Moore caught myattention with her talk of a Supernatural God, women's role in religion and accepting that God does work for those appointed to us in human form. The 'lesson' was based around the Israel's Covenant history in the Old Testament parable 2 Kings 4:8 to 37, where the prophet Elisha gives a gift of a child who dies then brings that child back to life for the Shunammite woman...sort of a reiki healing type power surge, or so it seemed to me from the description of the procedure in the bible scripture.

Beth Moore gave a sermon on the needs of women with God-as an example: Girl A- who has almost nothing and Girl Z who has almost everything and where we fit into that...of course as my friends know, I'm the Princess of quite a lot!

Also, her 7 Crown topics which were-
1- Personal desperation can jar us out of second hand-stories.
~Me? My answer to that was these often appear from others to keep us on track of our own personal truth.I try not to listen to second hand stories...
2-God didn't call you to 'fine', God called you to faith.
~Me?I want to live in the supernatural provision of God which was what Beth Moore agreed...If you have everything you need, then you need a bigger life. I NEED a MIRACLE! What can I do? Do it myself...
3-Fear is the crippler of a walking talking miracle.
~Me? Each of us are called here to be a walking talking miracle, called to tell our story by the Divine. Acts 18:9-10
4-Faith trusts that every call to forsake is also a call to take.
~Me? We are not called to teach but to tell- John 1:16
5-Faith faces the fact that there is no formula.
~Me? I say there's no fixed way to solve our problems. Some times its our failure that's a victory or a victory that is the failure. Be forgiving, you can lose, Ye Ge...
Love someone who hates you.
6-Faith rests its case on the resurrection of the dead. Galatians 1:4-5
~Me? I AM the walking dead, but I do believe. Galatians 1:11-12
7-The Lord speaks the word and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng. Psalms 68:11
~Me? Thats what we came to hear..right, Girls? note- we all love a surprize... : )
Amon to that!
P.S.- I've also had a invitation to the Ladies Spa weekend September 22 with my new Sisters ♥

Life on the Herb Trail

I've been running the fields and woods trying to get as many samples of local herbs as possible before the frost gets the 'best' of them. So far, I've ID'ed 15 in my local area...now I have a cold and need to stay home and drink sage tea...hoping to feel better for tomorrow's symocast at the church from Beth Moore...

I also found a excellent sample of goldstone on my path...hope you enjoy : )

Gold Stone-
♥ Vitality ♥ Drive ♥ Ambition
Its sparkle is due to flecks of copper.

Chakras - (gold) Sacral Chakra, (blue) Throat Chakra
Typical colours - gold or blue with golden sparkles

Goldstone is said to be the stone of ambition. It builds energy, courage and a positive attitude. Increases drive and confidence. A gently uplifting stone, Goldstone promotes vitality.

Goldstone helps to reduce stomach tension and benefits arthritic conditions. It is helpful to bones, painful joints and circulation.

Bathing Ritual

A bath is a ritual for me. I love to light a candle, turn on some soft music and fill my old bath tub with bubbles. The size of the Tub allows me to sit right to my neck in water if I like and comtemplate life in general... I have also been known to fall asleep and wake up in cold water and my dog, Elfie, has rescued me a few times when this has happened by standing beside the tub and barking at me
: )
The Bath Tub was one of the reasons I love the old house I rent. When I was a small child we lived in a home with a similar one. I was allowed to fill it to the brim and 'swim' around, pretending I was a fish. Also there was the assortment of boats, duckies and other float toys of the day to play with. I was usually hauled screaming from a ice cold bath water by my Grand Mother as I never wanted to be taken out of my water playground.

The tradition of a bath is a ancient one dating back before anyone even remembered to write about it. The Romans were famous for their baths, dedicated to their Gods and only certain persons were allowed to take part.Even now people travel world-wide to be healed in salt baths, mud baths and mineral waters.
