Last day of February...seems like we haven't really had much of a winter this year. I only had to shovel out my car twice. Both times this month. The weather has been fairly mild this winter with only a few really cold days of -15 at the coldest.

I went to my monthly drumming circle last night with 9 other ladies. Every time we host one here different people seem to show up. I always say its because they were 'suppose' to be there.

My friend Shelly helped me open our circle. Some of the others are Christian and are always thrilled with the preparations and calling of the quarters. I tell myself its because its in our DNA to accept the natural 'presense' we all come from ♥ We had a visit from a herd of 7 deer who munched happliy on her Juniper bush . They were very friendly and walked to the windows were we were drumming.

made this video in December 2010 of my kittens. I rescued their feral Mother back in September and ,of course, the next day she gave birth to 4 babes. I already had 2 adult neutered males, Shamas & Alfred plus my dog, Elfie living in the house with me. I can tell you life is never dull now...♥

Looking out at the snow coming down today...wondering if I'll get to my drumming circle later...

Took a leisurely drive to Meteghan yesterday to pick up my on-line auction 'win'...a beautiful 6 inch rose quartz. i've been collecting semi-precious stones for years and couldn't resist this beauty ♥ This is a picture of it along with my rose quartz and Heliotrope (bloodstone) wands.


I noticed on the way that where was a ship at the dry dock in Meteghan River so i stopped to get a photo for my friend, Doug...he has a 'thing' for pirates and immediately put it on his facebook profile when I up-loaded it! So easy to make some people happy! The wind was really cold, -8 today, so I didn't stay outside the car too long in the sharp wind from the ocean. We had a rain storm followed by snow last night so even my door on the house was frozen shut this morning! Looking forward to warmer weather and beach walking...

Another day off today...no call from work so slept in till 9pm, first time in months! My dog Elfie finally rustled me out of bed because HE had to pee! Planning a trip to Town today to visit my friends at The Whole You- Mind, Body & Soul- New Age Esthetics . I became part of their team last year but because of my regular job I haven't been in much to read... Their planning a psychic fair in April so must ask for that day off so I can attend...

I was lying in bed watching the light from my prisms dance on the wall in the early morning light. It reminds me of all the beauty we miss in our daily lifes. If only we could stop and look around us more...our lives are so busy, our minds always in motion with a million ideas and decisions screaming for our attention. Its not often we slow down and try to connect with our centre. Most of us are like plants growing in the shade...we reach for the light and become spindly and weak. Really we have to know that the light is with in us, to be quiet so the glow will come to us ♥

Day off...finally!

Enjoying a day off today. I've worked 16 days in a row so thinking I deserve one! Of course though, I have to now clean the house, pack up some non-essencials for my 'move', and work outside with the horses a bit as Max is getting a bit bossy with me lately so my day is still full.

I'm hoping to sneak out for a coffee with my friend later. She lives by the Ocean and owns a small hobby farm. Her house is always warm, messy, haunted but very welcoming to me...a good place to go relax! We've had many adventures together over the 10 years I've known her and we both have shared our Spiritual awakenings with the original owner of her house... : )

It started with her lights and TV blinking adn turning off & on. Then whisperings... She could hear foot steps on the stairs at night. Her grand-son seen the old man several times but never were any of us afraid of 'Victor Walter"...as we named him. I discovered my gift for catching orbs on film there too.
